Responsibility towards Employees

The total number of employees at the Central Bank of Montenegro is 387, of which the number of women is 234 and the number of men is 153.

At the bank, we foster an inclusive work environment where everyone is treated with respect and has equal opportunities, regardless of disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.

In line with its statutory obligation regarding the professional development of its employees, the CBCG makes significant efforts to train its staff in international financial institutions and European central banks where its employees can acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge they are able to apply in their daily work later on.

Moreover, the CBCG has been recognised as an institution which, in cooperation with academic institutions in Montenegro, enables students to gain hands-on experience in central banking and encourages its professional staff to give presentations and lectures. The CBCG employees thus have the opportunity to present their knowledge and master their presentations skills.
