Through continually improving its policies and regulatory framework, the CBCG promotes sustainable development and a responsible attitude towards the environment by supporting the financial sector in integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles.

By joining the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), and through donations to and supporting ecological actions, awarding the CBCG Green Award, and other activities, the CBCG remains ready to be a part of regional and international green transition initiatives that would include the exchange of experience and contribute to swifter transition towards a more sustainable economy.
