Integrity represents the legal, independent, impartial, responsible and transparent performance of tasks and duties by which public officials and other employees of the Central Bank of Montenegro preserve their own reputation and the reputation of the Central Bank of Montenegro, ensure the confidence of citizens in the exercising of public functions and work of the Central Bank, and remove any suspicion of potential occurrence or development of corruption.

Based on the assessment of the sensitivity of certain jobs and working processes to the occurrence and development of corruption and other forms of illegal conduct of its public officials and employees, the Central Bank of Montenegro adopted the Integrity Plan containing measures to prevent and eliminate opportunities for the occurrence and development of corruption and ensure the confidence of citizens in its work.

The CBCG Code of Ethics establishes the rules of professional conduct that the employees are obliged to follow with a view to preserving, affirming and improving their dignity and the reputation and integrity of the Central Bank of Montenegro.
