CBCG Annual Award

On the occasion of the Day of the Central Bank of Montenegro, 11 April, the annual award for the best diploma thesis, master’s thesis and doctoral thesis in banking, monetary policy and theory is granted. The aim of the award is to both stimulate the development of scientific thought and promote and celebrate young professionals in Montenegro.

The award is granted for the theses which Montenegrin citizen successfully defended in the previous calendar year at the universities. The decision on this is made by a special Commission appointed by the Governor of the Central Bank and made up of prominent professors in economics.

The annual Central Bank award consists of a plaque and a cash prize, established each year by the Governor.

We believe young economists will thus be encouraged to choose more topics covering central banking, monetary policy and theory, supervision and other relevant topics.
