Technical Cooperation
The CBCG continuously establishes and improves cooperation with other central banks and international financial institutions through exchanging knowledge, experience and best practices.
Concerning European integration, the CBCG develops and improves technical cooperation with the European System of Central Banks and the European Central Bank to strengthen its institutional and administrative capacities, particularly within implementing activities aimed at harmonising with standards and the best European central banking practice.
Within the CBCG's bilateral technical cooperation with many central banks, the continuous support provided by the partner central banks with which the CBCG has signed cooperation agreements is essential. In the past period, it signed the memoranda of understanding with the Deutsche Bundesbank, the Croatian National Bank, the National Bank of Serbia, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye.
Moreover, since the establishment of the CBCG, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank have been providing regular technical support programmes, which significantly contribute to further building institutional capacities.
