Boosting economic cooperation is a priority

The Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Mr Radoje Žugić, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Montenegro, Ms Songül Ozan. 

Governor Žugić introduced the Ambassador with the situation in the banking sector and with the CBCG activities on strengthening financial stability. 

The speakers agreed on the assessment that Turkey and Montenegro are countries having good overall relations and a boosting economic cooperation. The Ambassador Ozan pointed out that Turkish investors are increasingly interested in investing to Montenegro not only for economic reasons, but believing into Montenegro’s European perspective and successful future.

They also spoke on the good cooperation between Ziraat Bank and the CBCG.

The speakers expressed their expectations that the cooperation of these two countries will improve additionally in the coming period.
