CBCG and CBBH on Experiences in Operational Risk Management, Business Continuity and ESG Standards

The CBCG recently welcomed Ms. Vesna Paćuka, the chief expert for integrated risks in the CBBH Governor's Office, as part of their ongoing bilateral cooperation with the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH). The visit aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange on operational risk management, business continuity, and ESG standards. 

Over two days, the CBBH representative delved into the CBCG's comprehensive policies and methodologies for managing operational risks and ensuring business continuity, aligning with international standards, best practices, and the Eurosystem's policies.

The visit also provided an opportunity to share significant experiences in integrating ESG criteria into policy-making, investing in green bonds, and strengthening financial stability, with a particular emphasis on charting a sustainable financial roadmap for the sector.

This exchange of expertise bolsters the successful cooperation between the two central banks and further enhances their capabilities in addressing challenges essential to the functioning of central banking and society.
