Maša Jovović was awarded the prize for the best master’s thesis of 4,000 euros for the paper “The Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) and Montenegrin Economy model”.

Irena Radović, the CBCG Governor and the President of the Commission for the Annual Award Awarding, presented the awards to winners. The Commission consisted of prominent professors from Montenegrin universities, among whom were previous CBCG Annual Award alumni and CBCG experts.

Speaking about the goals of the CBCG Annual Award contest and the scholarship contest for the best students, Governor Radović pointed out that the CBCG is focused on a future dominated by knowledge, innovation and progress.

“The award aims not only to recognise exceptional young individuals, but also to motivate the academia to continue research in areas crucial for our economic system’s development,” Governor Radović stated.

In her address to the Annual Award winners, she remarked that the world of finance and economics is undergoing significant changes. “You have the opportunity to be part of those changes, to lead and shape them. Therefore, it is essential to believe in yourself, set high goals and remain dedicated to achieving them. Be courageous in exploring new ideas, innovative in your approach and persistent in your professional development,” said Governor Radović.

The CBCG Annual Award was established in 2007 to encourage the development of scientific thought and promote young professionals in Montenegro. Since its establishment in 2007, 53 graduates, masters, and PhDs have received the CBCG Award.
