On the CBCG organised a working breakfast for media representatives dedicated to the implementation of the new Law on Consumer Credits and the improvement of the protection of consumers’ financial rights.
Vice Governor Gordana Kalezić and her team discussed with media representatives the importance of the new legislative solutions for consumers, as well as the competencies and activities of the CBCG in this area.
During the event, the key solutions introduced by the new regulatory framework were presented, with particular focus on improving the protection of users of financial services, increasing the transparency of credit products, and strengthening trust in the financial system.
The working breakfast was an opportunity for an open and constructive discussion on the importance of informing citizens about their rights and obligations when using financial services, as well as on the role of institutions in building a fairer, more responsible, and more transparent financial system. In this way, the CBCG contributes to a better understanding of these topics and their importance for citizens and for the stable functioning of the financial system.
