By numerous educational activities the Central Bank of Montenegro celebrated the GMW which lasted from 14 to 20 March 2016. The event, which aims to strengthen economic and financial literacy, this year, included nearly a thousand children and young people from various Montenegrin towns.

Representatives of the Central Bank prepared an interactive workshop on savings and money for preschool children. Primary school pupils had the opportunity to participate in workshops ''Welcome to the world of money'' and high school students learned how to recognize counterfeit money. Also, representatives of the Central Bank visited the Day care centre for children with disabilities in Nikšić.

 

Workshops and lectures were held in Podgorica, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Bar, Budva and Nikšić.

Aim of these activities is to include children and youth in the global campaign that brings together millions of participants around the world.
