The CBCG Governor, Ms Irena Radović, participated in the conference Women in Management—the Force of Change and Economic Progress, which was organised by the Montenegrin Employers Federation (UPCG) in cooperation with the City Assembly of the Capital City of Podgorica and the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

As the conference’s opening speaker, Governor Radović highlighted that, despite certain advances, the current position of women in the Montenegrin economy is still not satisfactory. Moreover, it leaves a lot of room and an obligation to continue the efforts in this direction.

“Positioning women in management positions not only contributes to their personal development but also significantly encourages the economic and overall progress of our society, which numerous studies have confirmed,” said Governor Radović. She noted that, through wise decisions and dedicated work, women in management positions set standards of excellence and efficiency in the business world, directly contributing to better business results of the companies they manage and, indirectly, to more substantial and more resilient economic growth and development of Montenegro.

According to the Governor, as an institution dedicated to strengthening financial and overall economic stability, the CBCG will advocate for and strongly contribute to improving the business environment for developing companies owned or managed by women.
