Excellent cooperation between the CBCG and the Fed

The meeting of CBCG Governor Radoje Žugić with the American Federal Reserve (Fed), had with Thomas Klitgaard, Economic Research Advisor at the Fed, as part of his official visit to the USA, confirmed that these two institutions have a long-standing successful cooperation.

One of the topics of the discussions referred to current macroeconomic trends, especially in light of high inflation and unfavourable geopolitical events. At the meeting, they also discussed the financial market situation and the crisis’s impact on the world economy. In this sense, they mainly discussed projections of economic trends in developed and developing countries.

At the meeting, the interlocutors also exchanged experiences related to international reserves management.
