Governor Žugić meets the Minister for Public Administration Suzana Pribilović

Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), Mr. Radoje Žugić met today with the Minister of Public Administration, Ms. Suzana Pribilović.

During the meeting, they discussed topics that should significantly contribute to reducing the non-observed economy and improving the business environment.

They also discussed the creation of technical and legal prerequisites for the introduction of electronic payment of administrative fees for files and actions before state and local government bodies, which would entail payments at POS terminals at the application spots. Moreover, they continued discussions regarding the obtaining of a qualified certification body status by the CBCG under the Law on Electronic Identification and Electronic Signature. The CBCG plans to become a qualified provider of services to legal and natural persons in Montenegro. Finally, they discussed new strategies for initiating PayPal service extension, through joining regional initiatives and the support of international financial institutions.
