Governor Žugić meets the NLB banka management

The Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), Mr Radoje Žugić, met with Dino Redžepagić, Acting Chief Executive Officer of NLB banka AD Podgorica.

Mr Redžepagić informed Governor Žugić about the NLB banka AD Podgorica’s operations in the previous year. Despite numerous challenges caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the bank operated positively last year and recorded a net profit of some 3 million euros.

“Although this has been a very demanding period, NLB Bank has been successfully operating and overcoming pandemic-related challenges. Simultaneously, we are intensively working on the independent asset quality assessment project (AQR). Moreover, we are fulfilling numerous other current obligations”, said Mr Redžepagić.

Governor Žugić expressed satisfaction with the presented results and plans. He pointed out that “the CBCG is a partner of NLB and other commercial banks in all activities aimed at achieving a common goal - preserving the banking sector’s stability in Montenegro.”
