The pupils of the Grammar School “Slobodan Škerović” from Podgorica spoke today with the CBCG Governor, Ms Irena Radović, about the institution’s competencies, the banking sector’s importance, green transition, new financial technology trends and other multiple economic topics.

The meeting with grammar school pupils, organised within Global Money Week, aimed to bring the CBCG’s role closer to youth and clarify its most significant responsibilities. The chosen topic and presentation method adapted to the visitors’ age proved very inspiring, so the event involved an intensive discussion and multiple questions addressed to Governor Radović and her team.

“As future actors of economic and social life in Montenegro, we encourage you to constantly expand your knowledge, using modern technologies available,” said Governor Radović, highlighting the need to acquire financial knowledge and a responsible and informed approach to personal finance.

The grammar school pupils expressed their satisfaction with discussions with the Governor and her team and said that the visit to the CBCG was extremely interesting and instructive.

As a socially responsible institution, the CBCG advocates for improving financial literacy among youth and regularly designs and implements numerous educational activities, such as today.

Global Money Week is a worldwide event in 176 countries to promote financial literacy, economic knowledge, and skills among children and youth under this year’s slogan: Protect your money, secure your future.
