ANNOUNCEMENT: Governor Radović to Attend Economic and Financial Dialogue in Brussels

The CBCG Governor, Irena Radović, will participate in the Economic and Financial Dialogue between the EU and candidate counties and potential candidates on 13 May 2025 in Brussels. The event is under which is being held under the patronage of the European Commissioner for Economy and Productivity, Valdis Dombrovskis.

The meeting will be chaired by the Ministers of Economy and Finance from Poland, Denmark, and Cyprus, who represent the current trio presiding over the Council of the European Union. Discussions will focus on the economic situation and current challenges faced by candidate and potential candidate countries, as well as the European Commission’s recommendations for economic policy in these nations.

Governor Radović will speak about the current economic trends in Montenegro, outline the CBCG’s priorities in the context of European integration, the importance of adherence to the SEPA and TIPS system, and the implementation of structural reforms.

During the stay in Brussels, the CBCG delegation led by Governor Radović will hold a series of bilateral meetings with high European Commission officials to discuss the further integration of the Montenegrin financial system into the European framework. The CBCG delegation will also have meetings at the Central Bank of Belgium.
