ANNOUNCEMENT: Governor Radović to Attend IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok

A delegation from the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), led by Governor Irena Radović, is attending the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, taking place from 12 to 18 October 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The CBCG delegation will hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior officials of the IMF and the World Bank, as well as representatives of partner organisations and international financial institutions.

Discussions will focus on current global economic and financial challenges, strengthening systemic resilience and institutional capacities, and further support for Montenegro’s reforms and European integration.

The IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings bring together leaders from around the world, central bank governors, finance ministers, and representatives of international financial organisations, the private sector, academia and civil society. They provide an important opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, particularly in the context of the challenges currently facing the global economy.
