Ambassador of Greece Visits the CBCG

The Ambassador of Greece to Montenegro, Mr. Panagiotis Partsos, visited the CBCG today, where he met with the Governor, Ms. Irena Radović.

His Excellency congratulated the Governor on taking office, stressing that the CBCG has a key role in preserving financial stability as a segment of overall macroeconomic stability, which is very important for further Montenegro’s progress on its European path.

The Governor informed His Excellency about the current situation in Montenegro’s banking sector, emphasising that it is stable, well-capitalised and highly liquid and recorded continuous assets, capital and deposits growth in the previous year.

The interlocutors agreed that Greece and Montenegro have excellent and friendly overall relations and excellent bilateral cooperation with room for further strengthening of economic ties between the two countries.
