Commemorative Postage Stamp Issued to Mark 25 Years of the Central Bank

Intending to mark the 25th anniversary of the CBCG, a commemorative postage stamp was released into circulation today, symbolically highlighting the significance and longevity of this institution.
The publication of this commemorative philatelic issue stands as a testament to institutional continuity, durability and the trust that the CBCG has been building for a quarter of a century.
The issuance of the stamp also affirms the importance of philately as a medium for marking significant dates and institutions.
The total print run amounts to 30,000 copies, along with 300 commemorative First Day Covers (FDC), which hold particular value for philatelists and collectors.
The stamp was designed by graphic designer Ana Pejović, whose visual concept symbolically reflects the continuity, stability and development of the financial system over the past two and a half decades.
To mark the 25th anniversary, the Central Bank of Montenegro will also issue commemorative gold and silver coins in limited mintage as an additional tribute to this important milestone.
