Experts presented good examples of artificial intelligence applications in the public sector

As part of the activities on the development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy in Montenegro, a meeting was held at the Central Bank of Montenegro with the World Bank representatives Robin Van Kippersluis, Flavio Sotelo and Milica Janković, and leading experts in the field of AI, Divya Siddarth, the Executive Director of the Collective Intelligence Project and one of TIME's 100 most influential people in AI, and Keegan McBride PhD, a Lecturer in AI, Government, and Policy at the Oxford Internet Institute and an Adjunct Senior Fellow in National Security and Technology at the Center for a New American Security.

The experts presented good examples of artificial intelligence applications in the public sector, and the most effective ways to communicate with the interested public using AI services were discussed. The meeting covered the benefits and risks associated with the development and application of AI in communication, support for internal processes, and other activities relevant to the Central Bank's operations. 

Biljana Gligorić, Advisor to the Governor for implementation of ESG standards and innovation, highlighted that the Central Bank recognizes the great importance of digital transformation and the use of AI to enhance productivity and efficiency in activities, as well as to increase transparency through simpler and more accessible services for citizens.
