Governor Radović Meets the CKB Bank Management

The CBCG Governor Irena Radović met today with the Chairperson of the Management Board of Crnogorska Komercijalna Bank (CKB), Tamás Kamarási.

At the meeting, they discussed the CKB’s operating results in the previous years and its objectives and plans for the upcoming period. They stated that the CKB operates soundly and has an excellent operating score, which is of the utmost importance considering its systemic importance as the largest bank in the Montenegrin market.

Governor Radovič expressed the expectation that the CKB will support entrepreneurial initiatives, small and medium businesses and large capital development projects even stronger in the coming period to dynamise Montenegro’s economic growth. She pointed out the importance of green transition and the need for banks to take an active role in the process as soon as possible. “Banks that act proactively will have a long-term competitive advantage in the market,” the Governor highlighted, adding that the CBCG will be committed to creating a fostering environment for banks’ support of green projects.

At the meeting, they noted the importance of continuing communication and cooperation towards achieving joint objectives, particularly strengthening the banking system and preserving financial stability.
