Governor Žugić meets the management of Ziraat Bank

The Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), Mr. Radoje Žugić, and his associates met with the management of Ziraat Bank, represented by the President of the Board of Directors, Mrs. Burcu Turker, the Vice-President of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ertan Yilmaz, the Chief Executive Director, Mr. Mustafa Senman, and the Executive Director, Mr. Goran Bakić. 

The representatives of Ziraat Bank informed the Governor on the Bank’s operations and plans related to strengthening of its future position at the Montenegrin market. “We are very pleased to testify to the strong development of economic relations between Turkey and Montenegro”, noted President Turker adding that the future activities of Ziraat Bank will focus on intensifying retail operations and financing the real sector.

Governor Žugić informed that the CBCG supports the intent of Ziraat bank, emphasising the need of providing stronger support to local companies with sustainable business ideas that want to improve competitiveness and profitability.

The CBCG and Ziraat Bank agreed to continue communicating and cooperating with a view to strengthening the safety and stability of Montenegro’s financial system and intensifying support to the economy, and consequently to spurring the economic growth.
