With regard to the media interest about the recapitalization process of Atlas Bank AD Podgorica, the Central Bank of Montenegro issues the following

MEDIA STATEMENT

Bearing in mind that the registration and payment of issued shares did not take place by the existing shareholders in the procedure of recapitalization of Atlas Bank AD Podgorica in the interim administration until today, the conditions have been met for the interim administrator of the Bank to inform the Capital Market Authority (CMA) on the outcome of the banks`s shares issue with the aim of receiving the decision on the issuance failure.

Following this, the interim administrator will submit to the CMA a request for the approval of the prospectus for the public offering or sale of shares of Atlas Bank AD Podgorica to entities other than the existing shareholders of the Bank.
