Meeting with the Ziraat Bank Montenegro Management

The CBCG Governor Radoje Žugić met today with the Ziraat Bank Montenegro AD Podgorica management, represented by the Management Board Chairman Fatih Yilmaz and Management Board Member Goran Bakić.

Analysing Montenegro’s banking market, they concluded that banks operate soundly and stable despite the challenges imposed by the macro environment.

“We encourage Ziraat Bank to support the Montenegrin economy’s healthy segments and to contribute to developing constantly expanding and improving economic relations between these two countries by enabling interested Turkish investors to invest in Montenegro,” said Governor Žugić.

At the meeting, they also discussed the cooperation between Ziraat Bank and the supervisor, the credit institution’s operations and its further plans for strengthening its position in the domestic market.
