Article 46 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 46/10, 6/13, 70/17, 125/23) stipulates that the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro consists of eight members: the Governor, three Vice-Governors, and four members that are not employed by the Central Bank, while Article 50 paragraph 1 stipulates that “the Vice-Governors shall be appointed by the Parliament, at the proposal of the Governor“.

To create the conditions for the Central Bank of Montenegro’s functioning in full capacity, in accordance with Article 50 paragraph 1 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law, the Central Bank of Montenegro’s Governor, Ms Irena Radović, submitted the proposal to the Parliament for appointing Ms Gordana Kalezić and Mr Milan Remiković as Vice-Governors.
