The Executive Director of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), Mr. Radoica Luburić with his associates received today the General Director of the Istanbul School of Central Banking (İMB), Mr. Necati Tekatli, and his deputy, Mr. Serkan Imisiker. The Istanbul School of Central Banking is an organisational unit of the Bank of Turkey dealing with training and scientific research in the central banking area.

Representatives of the İMB discussed the possibilities of strengthening bilateral cooperation of the respective institutions, particularly taking into account the quality of professional training programmes provided by the Bank of Turkey through the İMB to employees of other central banks.

The bilateral cooperation strengthening will enable participation of CBCG employees at the courses and workshops organised by the Bank of Turkey, organising programmes of priority to the CBCG and joint work on scientific projects, including publishing of papers in the Journal of Central Banking Theory and Practice published by the CBCG.
