The Council of the CBCG Adopts the Decision on Reporting Significant Incidents concerning Payment Services Provision

To create preconditions for applying the Law Amending the Payment System Law, which will enter into force on 8 October 2023, and for its harmonisation with the relevant EU acquis, the Council of the CBCG adopted the Decision on Reporting Significant Incidents concerning Payment Services Provision. Adopting the Decision completed the set of implementing legislation the Council of the CBCG adopted in 2023 concerning the Law. Thus, it fully transposed the requirements of the PSD2 Directive and the acts supplementing the directive to the Montenegrin legislative framework.
At the meeting, the Council adopted the decision to revoke the license of the microcredit financial institution “Ozmont” DOO with a registered office in Podgorica.
