The register of payment institutions is a database of: 

• payment institutions authorised by the CBCG to provide payment services;
• account information services;
• branches of payment institutions through which payment institutions provide payment services;
• agents to which payment institutions entrust provision of payment services; and
• activities not deemed to be payment services.

Register of Payment Institutions shall also contain information on service providers whose activities do not constitute payment services within the meaning of Article 3 of the Payment System Law, namely:

• providers of services based on specific payment instruments that may be used only in a limited way and that meet the prescribed conditions (Payment System Law, Article 3(1)(11)); and
• providers of electronic communications services and other services (Payment System Law, Article 3(1)(12)).
